Dull pain in lower right abdomen?

I have been feeling a dull pain in my lower back (which I am use to every now and then from before my BFP) but I am also feeling a dull pain in my lower right abdomen.  I am not sure if this is normal and if it continues I will find an OB/GYN and make an appointment ASAP. Saw my PCP today but at the time I did not think to ask her b/c the pain comes and goes.
 
Has anyone else ever experience a similar feeling? It is driving me crazy!! I also feel like I am on my period which is also making me feel bad.
 
Any advice??

    I felt like I had my period for a while too. But now I get cramps a lot less. From what I have been told by doc and the bump, it's normal. But if ever you are worried, just call a doctor. GL!

    I've been pretty crampy for the past week or so. I think it's normal.

    I had a similar feeling a few months ago and it ended up ectopic.  For me, I had the dull pain, like a cramp, off and on right around the lower right side of my abdomen (like over my ovary I guess). 

    I don't mean to worry you, just I would have your ob check you sooner rather than later (like asap).  They will prob do an u/s and watch your hcg levels to make sure everything is ok.  Better to be cautious on something like that.

    05/2009 ectopic pregnancy #1 09/2009 miscarriage 12/2009 ectopic pregnancy #2 03/2010 HSG, tubes clear with exception of adhesion on right tube from surgery, "diseased right tube" 03/2010 BFN 04/2010 Last and final attempt before tube removal and/or IVF 02/19/2011 Gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, 3 weeks early but perfectly healthy!

    Thanks. I will have to find an OB and try to get in for an appointment before the 8 week mark. I was not sure I wanted an OB to deliver because I was looking into a midwifery group..

    Either way good advice ladies and I will keep you posted.

    Agreed. You should have it checked right away if it is localized to one side continuously. BUT to give you the other end of that spectrum I had the same thing (and still do). After many tests and early u/s we saw baby in the proper place..no ectopic. Just like every other symptom...."It could be something, it could be nothing!"

    Just get it checked on.
