Hi Everyone,
I'm in this weird clothing stage where my maternity stuff doesn't fit me anymore (shirts are too short, pants are too lightweight or are capris and not appropriate for the weather), but I'm also really reluctant to spend any money on buying new stuff because these babies will be out in a month or so (if all keeps on going well!). I know that when I leave the hospital I'll still have quite a belly so I'm wondering if buying a pair or two of maternity pants might be a reasonable investment for the "fourth trimester". Or, I'm thinking that maybe I should buy more athletic-yoga-style pants with a stretchy waist (especially since my post partum days will be spent running casual errands or with the girls at home).
What would you ladies recommend buying?
Thank you!!! ![]()
Re: What clothes should I buy at 33 weeks?
I would def. go with yoga type pants.
I LOVED my Old Navy Maternity Yoga Pants I bought them online and wore the hell out of them during my final weeks pregnant and for a couple months after as well. They were thicker so I could even wear them out when we went to the doctor and Target runs.
GL.
I had a couple pairs of non-maternity yoga pants that I wore the heck out of so I'm a big fan of low waisted pants. Heck, I have a couple pairs of ON maternity pants that were low waist that I still wear today!
In terms of shirts, I'm not sure what your size or situation is, but since I was on bedrest my last 6 week, I just wore my DH's XL t-shirts or long sleeve shirts. They worked great!

You could try ebay or Goodwill for maternity stuff. I just found a nice BIG maternity shirt at Goodwill last week for $1!!!. It was an XL, but it was really long and big in the belly
And get some dresses/skirts. I found 2 short, like 'tunic style'? dresses in Targets clearance section for $5 each that I'm going to use as long shirts. I guess you are supposed to wear stretch pants under them or something.
