Let me start off by saying I mean no offense to anyone who's decided to name their children this way, this is just my opinion.
My stepmom-in-law has twin boys named Ryan and Bryan.
I hate it. I feel bad for them. They have a life time of being called the wrong name. Besides that, they're two very different people. Why do some feel that just because they were in the womb at the same time, they should have almost the same name? They don't name two kids that were born at different times Alicia and Felicia, why do it to twins?
Re: Twin names...
I don't think Lilly and Laney are too bad because they're actually not matchy matchy names. It's the ones that rhyme that really get me.
In fact, since I have an empty ute, I may start going by N'ykky
I know a Stacey and Tracey as well, and I STILL don't know which is which.
Now that's just silly talk.
I just wonder how many times the parent would yell "Tracey" and Stacey would come thinking she called for her or vice versa. That would drive me nuts.
I know 2 non-twin sisters named Kara and Shara. They hate it.
ETA: because I apparently like to leave out letters.
My husband is a twin and my FIL wanted to name them Levi and Elvi
Good thing MIL intervened and gave them two completely different names.

I worked with a Ryan and when he told us he had a twin brother named Bryan, I was in awe that people really did this to twins.
Years later, I was a daycare teacher and we had a set of twins come through named Whittaney and Brittaney.
