DD met Princess Tiana today!

DH and I took Jade to the "Ultimate Disney Experience" today in Burbank. We watched the movie on the Walt Disney Studio lot and the walk from the parking garage to the theater was marked with "frog prints".  Upon checking in we received Mardi Gras beads and purchased snacks.  The coolest part for me was seeing the studio lot itself.  Walked past several ABC shows that does (what is likely) post-production stuff for "Brothers & Sisters" and "Lost".  The movie started right on time and to say it was DD's first time at the movies she did GREAT!  The movie was awesome; very nostalgic for us since we are from Louisiana.  Lots of references to home--food, music, dialect and language.  After the movie we went to the "Experience" which was a chance to meet and greet Princess Tiana herself!  We got to take pictures and have a quick chat.  She was beautiful!  As were the other Disney princesses like Mulan, Pocahontas, Cinderella, Ariel and the others. There were also live props from the movie and other Disney films, stations where you can learn to be an animator, take pictures, and buy souveneirs. There was a cupcake shop and interactive/carnival style games as well.  Upon exiting we received an autograph sheet from all of the princesses and an original Princess and the Frog lithograph.  

DD loved every minute of it!  (**whispering**: and i did, too!) :)  This movie is a must-see!
