PIO shot...yikes! I haven't been pulling back to check for blood

I've only done 2 so far, but didn't realize this. I stick it in my behind and DH pushes the plunger. I hate these shots. GRRRRR

    I only check 50% of the time... to be honest, I think you would know if you hit a vein and were injecting into it... I have done that once and it hurt sooooo badly, i pulled the needle out and there was blood everywhere. It definitely felt different than all of the other times.
