  That's my current dilemma as well.  I like the long skirts.  I have my eye on a PBK bedding set, but the skirt is only 11" drop.  The Serena & Lily one I like has a 17" drop...quite a difference 6" makes in the overall look of it when you've got the mattress up high.

  What I did was bust out the measuring tape, turns out my crib isn't tall enough for the long ones so we're getting a 14" one.

  Were having our skirt made and it will be 14".  Were on team green and personally I think a puddled skirt seems a little more girly.

  I like 16" drops. When the mattress is in the highest position, it's still pretty low to the ground, and in the lowest position it just touches the floor.
