This should be considered torture....

I have to pee. F*ing bad. I just drank my first liter of water for the day and some coffee. But I can't leave the little NICU until the other nurse gets back from lunch. And I can't see any nurses in the well baby nursery who might relieve me for just a moment to visit the ladies room. And I can't leave these six preemies even for a minute! HELP ME! Ugh...(drowning internally).

    Aw, you work in the NICU?  Those babies must be so precious and I hope they all get big and healthy soon.

    I was just going to suggest an adult diaper, but if you're around a ton of baby diapers, just use those!

    Haha. I think it will take a whole package of preemie diapers to absorb one adult bladder full.

    I totally understand your predictament. I am a teacher and I get stuck in a classroom for hours at a time without a break. I can't leave these kiddos (elementary age) or else they go crazy!!

    can you call someone to watch the babies for a few minutes? 

    i mean, it's not sanitary for the babies for you to pee on yourself, and if you can't get to the bathroom now, then how are you going to get a diaper on?
