Anyone else ever think that their LO is having bad dreams? Maybe I'm crazy, but it really seems like she is having nightmares. Is that possible at this age?
For the past week or so Zoey has been waking up multiple times at night screaming. And it's been really hard to get her to calm down and go back to sleep because she is just so upset. And then she will settle down for maybe an hour or so and then it's the same cycle all over again. This morning it started at 1:00AM, and she basically only got about another hour of sleep from that point on. By 4:00, I just gave up and laid on the couch with her for a bit, and then by 4:45 we were up for the day.(ugh!) It really seems like maybe she is having nightmares, but I don't know how I would know for sure. It doesn't seem to be teething related because she seems fine during the day we are just having problems at night.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? I am starting to feel like I have a newborn again with all this up in the middle of the night. I really hope it comes to an end soon.
Re: bad dreams?
Maybe Zoey is trying to give you practice for her new baby brother.
I don't know though.. We had one night recently where Eve woke up screaming and wouldn't go back to sleep.. but she seemed in pain somehow.. I don't know if it was her teeth, or something else, but she would be ALMOST asleep and then squeal again like she was in pain and then be awake.
Sometime Eve will cry out in her sleep and then I figure she's having a bad dream, but she's never woken up like that.
Sooo.. any word from the dr yet on your Betas?

Nope, I haven't heard anything yet, but I just got the blood taken yesterday at around 4:00 and the lab that I go to isn't always great about sending the results over right away, so I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't hear anything today.
I discussed sleep at G's one year appointment- I was told that babies that young could wake at night from a bad dream or anxiety or it could just be teething or random waking. I hate the idea that she could be waking up from nightmares already
I've heard of babies that young getting night terrors...but I don't know anything about them personally.
Evan has woken up screaming like that before - a few nights in a row and couple times a night. No clue what it was.
I think Charlie def. has nightmares. He woke up one night screaming about "the monsters"
He also has night terrors sometimes. Those suck!
