DH is staying home with Henry next semester and taking night classes, but I realized he hasn't spent much time totally alone with him yet. He is not going to know what hit him!

Ha. I know what you mean. I left FI alone with Evie for the first time last week so I could work. He called me in a panic telling me the only time she would stop crying was when he held her and that he couldn't get anything done. WELCOME TO MY EVERYDAY!
My DH is a high school basketball coach, and this is the middle of their season, so he hasn't been able to spend alone time with DD either. He wants to so bad, but by the time he gets home from practices and games, it's too late for me to go anywhere. I can't wait for the Christmas holidays, when he actually has a few days off. I BF, but he promised me a few days during his vacation of being the sole provider at night to her, and giving her pumped bottles, so I can sleep straight through the night. I'm counting down the days!

Why not go out for an afternoon shopping and leave Henry with him?
I'm surprised your husband hasn't spent much time alone with him. You shouldn't be doing all the work!
Unfortunately he's in law school and this is exam crunch time. He's been getting home at 10 or 11 every night

I had to leave her for short trips with my dh so he would learn.
I pump a bottle and then go to target for an hour or go get a pedicure. I go somewhere close so if he really has a problem I can be home (and real problems do not include massive poop blowouts or fussy spurts)
He does very well with her now. Still freaks out about blowouts, but he can handle it

I left LO home for a few hrs with DH the last 2 days while I went on an interview and did some errands. He did pretty well. I've been giving him some practice while I showered and did things around the house so he wasn't so shocked the first time he was actually alone with her.

Nate makes sure that I get out of the house alone every weekend at least for a few hours. It's awesome.
but he has yet to take Harrison out in public alone. That's a whole different bag of donuts.
I think he'd get so much praise from old ladies for being out w/ 2 babies that his head would explode. Not sure i'd want to go there.

I'd start small -- maybe hand Henry to him & disappear in the house/apartment for an hour or so. Just so you're there if he does have a freak-out.
Then maybe leave for an hour to grocery shop. Something small.
I second Blair's suggestion...go to Target by yourself Saturday or Sunday afternoon & leave DH home with him.
THEN arrange a girls' night the next week & leave him with the baby for a couple of hours one evening.
This.
