Christmas Cards--the opposite problem

Instead of tracking people who aren't sending us a card this year (and possibly deleting them from the list), I got a card from someone I haven't talked to in about 2 years. Just out of the blue. So I guess I'm going to ADD her to our list.

This seems to happen every other year. Last time it was an ex-BF who sent a card to my last address.

So odd.

  • this happened to me last year too w/ an acquaintance from grad school

that is the only contact I've had w/ said person since graduation 3 years ago.  Very random.

I don't actually send cards but rather an update letter - with embedded pics and what not.  I inevitably don't get this done until the week I take off between Solstice and New Years.  So usually people end up getting ours after the first of the Year.  And I don't care.  A week early, a week late, what's the difference?  Yes
