    Doing good so far....took and passed my GD test...SO HAPPY since my last PG I failed the 1 hr and had to take the 3hr one Ick!!!!!

     QOTD: No shower..this is my second baby.

    Some friends said they wanted to give me one a couple weeks ago, but there was no planning going on yet. I think we will get the holidays over first and then think about it. I havn't even registered yet..

    My EDD is 3/28, I'm down as Team Green, but I'm actually Team Pink (but I prefer purple!).

    My baby shower is a surprise, but I do know that the planning has commenced.  I'm assuming it will be in late January or early February.

    My work is throwing me a shower on December 15th.  This is because I have placenta previa and they wanted to have one prior to me going on bedrest if it happens.  I like this because when you plan ahead forthings, they don't happen! :)  My friend shower is on the 23rd of January and my MIL and Mom are throwing me a family shower sometime in February. 

     

    Hope all is well with everyone!!  I have my GD test on Friday.  Let's hope THAT goes well :)

    My mom is throwing the shower, and won't spill the beans as to when it will be. I do know that it will be after the baby is born, as we are on team green. This way everyone can meet the baby.

    As far as I know I won't be havinga shower for this baby! I would love to have one but because it's our second child they not common in this area. I think we might a a meet and greet about a month after the baby born just to celebrate him!

    QOTD: Right now, nothing is planned but my mom is starting to think about it.  I'll probably have that one in January because I have 2 cousins getting married (one in Feb, one in March) so my family will already be busy in those months, plus I work every other weekend out of town so dates are limited.  My MIL & SILs have a little more time to plan, but probably in February because they all have vacations planned for March.   Talk about a crazy late winter/spring!

    I'm having a family shower in Houston on 1/23, and a friends shower in Austin on 1/30.  Feeling very lucky and excited!

    I am visiting my family in Texas later this week, so my moom and sister are having a shower for me Thursday. My girlfriends are having a shower for me January 23.

     I am not sure when I am having my shower yet. I think everyone is busy with the holidays right now but it will be towards the end of January I believe.

    I have 2 scheduled in January and 2 others that aren't scheduled yet.  I just hope the weather cooperates.  I'm so excited!!!!

    Hey!  So I haven't been on thebump in a while busy with baby prep and work.  I am having a little girl my screename is StephanieSara23 due date 3/22 so please update me on the list.

     

    My shower is jan 17th being hosted by my cousins and best friends.  I am anxious to see everything we get (does that sound as terrible as I think it does)  LOL.

    • big, co-ed shower hosted my my aunt, SIL, and neices on January 31st
    • ladies only shower hosted by my mom's ex-supervisor and family friend(no date yet)
    • co-workers shower(no date yet)

    Good afternoon! I can't believe 3rd tri is almost here!

    I had a surprise baby shower on Thanksgiving because it was with family from the other side of the country. I don't know if I will have one here or not.

    QOTD: Do you know when you will be having your baby shower?  I told my mom and mil that I only want one shower and that I would prefer it to be before the baby comes.   Last time I heard anything about it mil said she was thinking Feb.  which is ok with me cause I want to be fully prepared before our baby girl gets here.

    I'm having one with family at the end of Jan and another on Feb 13 with friends.  I've been trying to get my registry in order.  It's such a pain!

    This is my second baby, so I'm not expecting a shower, however, my SIL has said that I will be having one.....not sure if she knows something that I don't Stick out tongue

    Good Afternoon! 

     My shower isn't until February 20th.  I'll be 35-36 ish weeks I believe.  My sister insisted she needed to be able to come in from Hawaii and be there so my mom planned it around her schedule.  Nevermind the uncomfortable pregnant ladys wishes!    So I get to be uncomfortable and try to socialize with 60 people and then hurry up and get ready for baby rather than relax the last few weeks of my pregnancy.  Eh well...I'm very grateful anyway.

    Yes, just found out my shower is going to be the first weekend in March b/c my mum doesn't fly into the country until the 1st of the month. She missed out on my bridal shower and I really want her to be there for this one! I'm due the 24th but hopefully I will still have enough time to get the stuff that I need before baby gets here!

    As far as I know I am not having a shower since this is my 2nd baby and my son was born just over 2 years ago. It would be awesome to have another shower cause this is a girl but I tottaly get why ppl don't have showers for the 2nd kid especially when they are close in age. I hope you all have a blast at your showers.

    QOTD:  Yes I know when my shower is.  My friends are throwing it for me on January 15th.  I can't wait.  Big Smile

    As for how I feel, I'm feeling pretty good considering I spent the whole weekend traveling.  We went up to Dallas for the Big 12 Championship and Texas won!  Which was good because if they had lost, I would have been leaving the stadium on a stretcher.  Either because I would have had a heartattack or because I was going into labor.  Nathan was not happy with the game either and he let me know because he was kicking the heck out of me.  Ha.

    I'm very lucky to be having 2 showers.  My family shower will be on Jan 30th and is being thrown by my sister and cousin.  My work (all my friends are from work) shower is on Feb 21st.  I'm very excited!

    I am just going to have one shower (I had multiple bridal showers and would rather just have one big one). It is going to be February 27th - which is a little later than hoped, but oh well.

    Hi girls!

    I know there will be a shower, thrown by my mom, MIL, sister and SIL, but I do not know when it is!  I love surprises and they know it!

    Edit: I believe work will probably be throwing me joint shower with a man in my school whose wife is expecting as well.  Don't know when that will be either!

    I will be traveling "back home" to NYC to celebrate Christmas with family, and my shower will be the Saturday before Christmas.  From what I've heard, almost all of our guests are making it, so I was worried for nothing about having no one show up (granted that remains to be seen, but still).

    Edit:  Oh, and I feel like poo.  I have a cold - sore throat, sinuses clogged, nasty headache.  I did get my H1N1 shot today, but I've been feeling this way since Saturday.

    Hi!  I can't believe I almost in the 3rd tri!  It is going by so fast!!!  I will be having three showers.  My sister is throwing me one on Jan. 16, my friends on Jan. 17, and my work doesn't have a date yet.  I can't wait though!

    I can't believe I'm almost in the 3rd trimester.  Christmas eve will be 27 weeks so I guess one christmas present can't be bought!!

    QOTD: I have no idea when my shower is... My family is intent on keeping it a suprise... DH knows some info and he hasn't pushed me to register yet so I guess I still have time lol

    My mom and her sisters are throwing me a family brunch shower Jan 2 while everyone is in ND for the holidays.
    My best friend is throwing my friends shower Jan 23 once everyone's back after semester break.

    My shower is going to be January 30th in FL.  My sister and mom are hosting it.  They do a great job with parties (my sister is an event planner) so it should be a blast.  They're already getting stuff ready for it.
