Does your LO ever play...

in Babies: 3 - 6 Months
in a play pen?  We were at my ILs last night having dinner and decided to test out LO in their play pen.  Surprisingly she played with her toys very well while we all ate!  She was so good I'm thinking I will bring ours out and start using it more at home so she gets used to being in it!

    They aren't sitting unassisted yet.  But we plan on using a PNP for that once they are.

    I still had the "bassinet" feature in our pnp and was using it to store all of his toys. We lowered it about two weeks ago. I used to put DS on his back and could go into the kitchen for a drink and come back and he would still be laying  there. Now that he is rolling, I'm thinking about trying out the pnp so that at least he'll be contained in his rolling if I have to go use the bathroom or something like that. Right now I put him in his exercauser if I have to be away from him for a minute or two.

    Oh, he can't sit unassisted yet either.

    DD spent most of the time playing on her back because she can only sit unassisted for short periods of time before she eventually falls one way or another.  My FIL had the bright idea of putting pillows in with her and sitting her up... DH and I were both like, No pillows in the playpen ever!  So we took them out and played happily again on her back.
