    The song that was playing when I told DH I loved him: Imagine

    The 1st song we heard right after DH proposed: Hey Baby (you know, from Dirty Dancing?  "Hey baby, I wanna knooooow, if you'll be my girl!")

    I don't know what "wedding song" means... the dancey song?  We didn't do dancing at our wedding (not for religious reasons, but because we got married in the morning, had a brunch reception, and would rather sit, drink, and chat with our guests). 

    Our entrance song for our wedding was "Jackson" by Johnny & June Carter Cash... our getaway song was "Hotel Yorba" by the White Stripes.  

    We have a lot of songs that mean a lot to us.

    oooh, fun!   Our wedding song was Thank you, written by Led Zeppelin, but we used the version sung accoustically by Chris Cornell.  It's an amazing song IMO lol. 

    We have a few other "our" songs: Sweet home alabama, and Everlong are also really meaningful to us.

    We got married in millenium park just the two of us and the preacher and her husband. We had a party when we got back but didnt dance to our song. Ours is im alive by flyleaf, lol

    I love that Led Zeppelin song.  Our wedding video was set to it!!

    Sort of funny...it is an LL Cool J song, I think it is called "Down the Aisle"

    DH picked it out and he is not at all the sentimental type, so it was fun that he found it.

    At our wedding, a friend of ours played a song called "Number Three", an instrumental piece by Ben Harper, as we walked down the aisle.

    Our first dance was to "Loving Wings" by Dave Matthews Band. I've seen the band 50+ times, and when we saw DMB one time in San Francisco, I turned to DH (then just boyfriend) all drunk and said "this is going to be our wedding song". I don't even think we had exchanged "I love you's" yet lol  And sure enough, it was Big Smile 

    We also used lines from the song in our wedding invites 

    "No matter how far we may roam...it's by your side I'll make my home".

    LOVE them! When DH and I started dating three years ago, I made him a cd with them on it. Then, when he proposed, he made sure to play this song while he got on one knee. And then, of course, at our wedding, it was our first dance. Now it is my ringtone for when he calls me. I looooooooooove it!
