DOes your LO leave food in mouth?

A few months ago DS would take a drink of water and look at us and wait until we told him to swallow. It was a game to him and he thought it was hilarious. Well now he has started leaving food in his mouth, tiny peices and they eventually turn to liquid. It's so gross and cannot taste good. He'll leave it in for an hour and go about his business playing if we let him. We have to plug his nose to get him to open his mouth and spit it out. Anyone else's LO do this??

    YES!  DD eats like a chipmunk.  She piles the food in her mouth and then seems to let it gelatinize in her mouth while slowly chewing and eating.  Usually she manages to get it all down while in the highchair but it isn't uncommon for her to pull out a random piece of chicken from her mouth like an hour or two after mealtime... nasty!
