My 4 year old peed on the bathroom floor last night

Apparently she woke up at 2am, walked into the bathroom, put her potty seat on the toilet, pulled down her pants, and peed on herself and the bathroom rug. I slept through the whole thing but DH was less than thrilled, and that is being mild. She had an "accident" yesterday while I was at work too. I don't know what is going on here. I am guessing she waited too long. It just isn't like her.

By the time my DS went to the bathroom this morning so he had no excuse...he gets out of the bed and walks to the bathroom then comes back to me and says he peed on the way to the bathroom. When I asked why he said he walked too slow. He peed literally outside the bathroom door. I was less than thrilled and really think he did it on purpose. If he needed to go so bad he would have moved a little faster. Not sure what is going on here either.

I bet she was just still asleep when she did it. There are always those stories like: When I was 5 I went in my sister's room and peed in her hamper.

It may not be like her to do that, but she's only 4 and it was the middle of the night. It doesn't really sound like that big of a deal.
