So, tomorrow I will be 10 DPO...
I know that this isn't a TTC board, but I don't post on any of them anymore, and I just need to vent some of my craziness. It took forever for my body to get back to normal after the m/c so this is our first month TTC again. I am feeling very conflicted. Part of me is optimistic, and part of me is convinced it's not going to happen. Getting pg this month would give me a due date in August, and a teeny tiny part of me feels really strongly like I am going to have a baby in August and that it will be a boy. My grandfather was born in August, and so I just feel like if I were to get pg in November, when he passed and then give birth in August, around when he was born it would just be appropriate somehow, like things somehow came full circle. But then I tell myself that it is silly to think that way because then if it doesn't happen it is just going to make me even more upset.
So ....I'm kind of a wreck. I was doing good all week not thinking about stuff because I was so busy, And now DH is working all day and I'm here by myself, thinking and obssessing and going back and forth about whether or not I should test tomorrow. 10 DPO is usually when I start testing, but I don't know...
Anyways, thanks for listening. I know that at least a few of you ladies were on the GP board with me and so you can relate to the 2ww insanity. And hopefully the rest of you won't mind me venting my craziness here

Well.. you know my answer is ALWAYS test.. obviously.
I am really hopeful for you. That thing about your grandpa is REALLY nice. But as i'm sure you already know, if this doesn't work out this month (I really think that it will), you will still love that baby just the same, even if he is born in September (yes, you're having a boy next.. no matter when it happens.
)

I know that you have been through a great deal this season and that a positive will be a blessing but I would wait to test. I am normally a wait until you are late to test. I know that it isn't easy to wait but wouldn't you rather have a clear answer than a "well, maybe I implanted late" if the test is negative.
Regardless of the outcome, I am thinking of you.

Just a random fact: Jody was pretty much raised by his grandpa. They were never apart/ total "buddies" until he passed away about 10 years ago, on November 13th. The day has always been a very, very tough one for him. Fast forward to Justin waiting NINE days late...to be born November 13th. It gives me goosebumps and hope

I know things have been really hard for you. I'm sorry. I have hopes for you - I think that just like the last time you ended up with Zoey, this time will be a positive experience (in every way)! Lots of sticky dust coming your way!

Logistically...how long is your LP? Mine is short, 11 or 12 days and since pregnancy tests show results up to 5 days sooner - I tested at 8 days and got a clear positive. So if your LP is long...like 16 days, then I wouldn't even bother testing until 12 DPO.
