We are having people over for the UT game tomorrow night and DH wants to use the recipe he got for Fletcher's corn dogs from the state fair. Since I am not going to make friend butter, what are some appropriate side dishes? TIA!
ive only even had one corndog in my life, but i would think that any of the following would work: mac and cheese, fries or baked potatoes with toppings, fruit salad

The school cafeteria always served cornbread on the days we had corndogs. I have no idea why, since it's kind of corn batter overkill. But I still associate the two.
Other ideas, baked beans, fries/onion rings/tots, chips and dip.
DH has the recipe at work, but I will definitely post it once we try it out! Thanks for the suggestions - looks like I really need to make mac n cheese!
LOL. I definitely like the sound of tater tots with corn dogs....yum. Maybe pickles or slaw or something vinegar-y, green and crisp for a veggie? pickled okra or cucumber salad?
Re: NBR - What would you serve with corn dogs?
mmmm, corn dogs...
i would do corn on the cob, fries, tater tots, fried okra, green beans, etc.

Ditto to all of the above. And I would love your recipe, if you don't mind sharing.

Another vote for you to share the recipe!
Mac and Cheese!!!
(But that's always my vote for a side dish.
