My doctor just prescribed me Cymbalta on Tuesday and it has made me feel awful. Has anyone else taken it? How long did you feel bad for? The insomnia is killing, which really sucks with a three month old who wakes in the night and a toddler running around during the day. It is also making nauseas and insanely jittery. He said to expect it to last a few weeks until the meds kicked in. Also he said to expect to be on it for a year, which I wasn't too thrilled about.
Oh and I am also exclusively breastfeeding, which both my doctor and pharmacist have assured me is fine.
Re: Meds Question
This! there are a lot of other options out there, I never experienced any of that when starting Zoloft. I'd be calling to try something else out.

I used to take Cymbalta to help with my Fibromyalgia pain. I started having night sweats after a few months. I didn't make they connection at first and thought there was something else wrong with me, but then found out night sweats can be a side-effect of Cymbalta. I went off it.
Talk to your doc first before quitting. Anti-depressants shouldn't be stopped abruptly.
