Re: Random clicky: Laundry

  • I voted for "It just sits in a rumpled heap until it gets pulled out and worn again" but this is only partly true.  We do this for the first part of the week and then I get fed up by wednesday and I enlist my DH to help fold and hang all the clothes.

  • I do all the laundry, fold it, and put it in the baskets. I make FI actually put them away.

I sort it, fold it and put it away.  I make DH run it up and down the steps most of the time and we take turns hanging it.

  • DH folds and puts his laundry away.  One of us folds DD's laundry and puts it away, but it does sit in a rumpled heap for a day or two.  Mine sits in a rumpled heap until I wear it.

Yes, we do laundry seperately.  I do DH's laundry "wrong" and DD generates so much, that she gets a full load done every week, whereas I can got about 2 weeks w/o having to wash.

  • I voted for #1, but I am actually a sparkly snowflake.

I always hang and fold my & DD's clothes immediately after it comes out of the dryer, because I hate wrinkles.  I used to fold DH's clothes, but I got heartsick watching DH rummage around, destroying all my pretty organization, so he gets to live out of the laundry basket.  Once in a while, we'll take some time and fold all his stuff together.
