3rd tri is rife with people who are so sure of how their labor will go, what they will and won't do because they have read books and have done research.

I lurked on 3rd tri while we were all on there....and I remember certain bumpies who were SO SURE they were going to have things a certain way....I still snicker sometimes when I think about it.

We were all perfect parents and had perfect birth experiences before we had babies, huh?

Oh, but the best are firm declarations of how they will actually parent. And any "we'll see" from a mom typically draws:

"Hey lady, just because YOU can't stick to your convictions doesn't mean I can't."
