I was an auditor before I left to SAH. I'm used to digging around to find every last penny. This morning this has come in handy! We're trying to negotiate the sale of our house and by digging around I was able to find an extra $4000 that we should be getting back from various places at settlement. This makes a huge difference in what we are willing to accept since we will be bringing money to the table and right now their counter is only 10k less than ours. Hopefully this leads to a deal!

You can take the girl out of auditing but you cant take auditing out of the girl!

HA! That's great...and i understand. I was an internal auditor for 5 years and while now i'm only considered "audit support" i'm still always looking for fraud
