5am is not morning

Seriously, DS, you can stop getting me up so dang early.  This morning it wasn't even 5 when you decided it was time to rise and shine.  Well, Mama doesn't shine at 5am.  Just sayin'.

You'd better have a good nap today...

    DS is up every day at 5.  I guess I would be ready to start the day at 5 AM if I went to bed at 6 PM too.  I miss the days of sleeping until 7, which is when DD gets up.

    agreed. my lo used to wake at 6:30, but it has been 5:30 for the last week. I finally got smart and went to bed super early b/c I have been so exhausted. I'm praying my 2nd will be a better sleeper (one can dream, right?)

    DS gets up around then too but usually I can nurse him and get him to sleep again until at least 6.  Then I bring him to bed with me and try to get a few extra minutes but that usually just results in him smacking me in the face and kicking me in the ribs until I give in and get up.

    Right there with you!  DS woke up at 3:30am this morning and then every half hour after that until 5am when I gave up and turned him over to DH.  I think it might be teething, but who knows...
