Stella McCartney for Gap = Fug.

I saw the Stella stuff at the Gap last week. Holy effing fugasshit. I could not find one item that I thought, wow, I'd spend $60 on a silk shirt for my 3 year old.

And really, WTF is with the MJ jacket on this kid?

    I TOTALLY agree with you 100%.  I would NEVER EVER buy my boys ANYTHING from her Gap Line.  Give me babyGap, Gymboree, Old Navy, Children's Place, Crazy 8 any day...

    Most of it is pretty fug...I agree on that. And the band jacket is absolutely hideous. BUT, I did get one outfit for DD and it is really cute. I got her the pink tutu skirt with the pink turtleneck and I think it is pretty cute on.

    I did see ONE gray sweater I liked for DD... the one w/the tie front.  Otherwise, I don't know what kind of crack she was smoking but I don't want any of it TYVM

    I think some pieces were cute, but I'd never buy a ton of it, b/c the colors were too blah.  Also, the price to me was rather off putting.  I'm not really going to buy a sweater for Jackson that is $60 or so.  I would if it was something fabulous, but most of it was pretty simple, so while cute enough, not worth the cost.

    I agree.  I saw one or two things that I thought were cute (I'll definitely buy the baby rompers with the pocket if/when they go on super sale), but they are very basic and simple (which I usually like), and I'm sure they are no better quality than the regular Gap clothing, so definitely not worth the price.  You are just paying for her name, I guess.  Based on simplicity, I think I could have designed most of the stuff myself.

    I did think the tutu skirt was super cute, and it is perfect on Olivia (above)! Smile
