So I was doing the googleimage post below and was searching for something to post about my home town. I know that forever now that when I google Narrows, Va that something about Jarrett and VT and the shooting and what not will show up. Ok. I can deal with that. I dont mind it so much because I know it will happen. But this? Seriously? WTF would someone take this pic?

That is a picture of my dead brother in his casket in the Fing GROUND! Why take a picture of that? I get it...the town cops (mostly of whom watched Jarrett grow up as they were town cops) wore VT hats...take a pic of them with them ON not on the casket.

Sorry...Im shaking right now because Im so furious.

I didn't even think of that when I posted that google challenge.

I can't imagine how hard that is seeing that picture--- not to mention when you had already posted about the holidays being so difficult.

I'm so sorry that must be so very difficult and who would take a pic like that? I just saw your siggy in another post and was wondering about who J. Lane was until I saw the VT symbol. I'm so deeply sorry.

No, dont feel bad. I know and have known that if I google Narrows, my name, VT, Jarrett, etc that images of him and things would pop up. That I can handle. Pics of our house, pics of him, us, etc. NOT his casket! I just found 2 more. One of the hurse (sp) with the casket in it and one of them putting the metal cap on the top of the cement box the casket is in. Just horrified that someone would think that is an ok pic to take.

I cannot begin to imagine what your family has been through. This should just be another reminder to the media that families should be allowed to mourn in private, not matter how tragic the circumstances are that led you there. (((((((hugs)))))))
