DH and I are going to kill each other on my maternity leave...

in 3rd Trimester
So DH is layed off and plans on being a SAHD once I go back to work. He is looking for a part time evening or night shift job. So anyways, I currently work 4 days on, 4 days off and I am looking forward to taking my 12 wks maternity leave. But I am thinking we are going to kill each other. Anyone else's DH staying home for a little while when LO is born and do you anticipate getting on each other's nerves?

    My FI is off work by noon everyday, and I've had a reduced work schedule so I'm home a lot.. Just spending the afternoons with him gets annoying.. But once the baby gets here, you will have other things on your mind besides irritating eachother.. That's what I'm hoping for at least!

    He is staying home a week. Wanted two but his work has a blackout period (works for Fed Ex) and he knows itd be tough to take two. But with my mom and grandma here we both agreed any longer we'd all get on each others nerves and a week is a blessing :)

    My DH is requesting a month of leave. I'm GLAD he is because he will be a big help to me. I already anticipate with the lack of sleep we'll both be grouchy and irritable, but we both know that's part of it. More then anything I'm greatful I won't have to go through it alone.

    My Dh and I both work from home. We are literally together 24/7, with the exception of him hunting, or me going with the girls etc.

    DH was home two weeks when Max came home from the hospital and plans on being home two weeks with this baby.

    He made me nuts, because all he really did was lay around and "bond with the baby", which I know he enjoyed but it annoyed me. At least this time the two weeks will be over the holidays so other things are going on, and I will actually need help with Max.

    My husband was laid off and will be a SAHD.  I'm really looking forward to my four weeks off - we've never had so much time together.  I'm excited.

    My DH is taking 2 weeks (I'll be home 8ish).  I worry we'll both be so tired we'll snap at each other, but honestly I think it will be fun to be together.  I'm hoping we can stagger some naps throughout the day so we can have some evening time together.  Nobody else is staying with us so it'll just be us figuring it out! :)

    I wish my DH were going to be home during my maternity leave. No such luck. He works for a steel manufacturer and is the Director of IT. So any server that goes down, he fixes. He already works crazy hours and I wish he were home more.

    DH works from home and I have a one year mat leave.  I am pretty sure that we will be on our way to a divorce by the time I go back to work (we are not the type to spend a whole lot of time together - we are both very independant and have very different interests).  The saving grace is that I will be gone with the dog and baby for most of the summer (my parents live on a lake so I will be spending a lot of the summer there).  I am planning on being out of the house a lot too (mommy and me classes and visiting friends that I have not seen in a while).

    My DH is planning on taking off for 4 weeks once our LO is here. I really think that I just might go insane!!!

    My DH got laid off too.  I think he will be a huge help and not annoy me but who knows.  I may have to go back to work earlier than aniticpated because we really can't afford for me to take 3 motnhs off with no pay.

    I'm taking 12 weeks and he is taking the week the baby is born off. He is going to drive me nuts, since I am laid back and he needs to be constantly busy.
