How do you get LO to take a bottle for the first time?

DD has been EBF since day 1 - and now I'm thinking it would be nice if she took a bottle once a day so I could get her reflux meds into her in a nicer way (right now she gags on the meds and spits most of it out).

I've tried a couple different bottles/nipples, but so far she just chews on the nipple a bit and looks at me like I'm crazy. I've tried putting a drop on the end of the nipple, and squirting a bit into her mouth, but she won't suck it! She'll take a pacifier occasionally, so I don't know why she won't just take on the bottle.

Any tips?

    I've been trying every possible way (different bottles, dif nipples, different people trying such as DH or g-ma) for 6 weeks now.   She still wont drink from a bottle.

    I go back to work in 2 weeks.  

    I don't know what she's going to do.

    My only thought: is it warm enough?

    Andrew has been taking a bottle a day since about 1 month old.  He likes a really warm bottle - even room temp is too cool for him and he won't drink from it.  I guess he's used to 98.6.

    You may have already thought of this, but I just thought I'd throw it out there!  GL!

    mm I don't know what to say...DD likes everything!! warm cold, silicone, the other one (how do you call them again??) I would say keep trying, LO will get used to it eventually

    Try leaving the room and letting your husband give her the bottle. This is what worked for us the first time and now he'll take a bottle from anyone, although it still takes longer for me personally to coax him to drink from it.
