Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

If your DC is in a toddler bed...

Do you use regular bedding?  Like a top sheet, a bedspread-like blanket?  A pillow?

DS just started in the toddler bed, but so far he's just using his baby blanket still.  I'd like to get him some warm covers for the winter, though.  He's probably ready for that, right?  Do they even make "bedding" for toddler beds?

  • Yes they make bedding. DD is still in a toddler bed (she's 4) the end of it is fitted, she has a sheet too, then she likes to snuggle up with a couple blankets and her pillow and a teddy.

  • DS is in his toddler bed.  He sleeps on his fitted crib sheet and he uses two baby blankets that are pretty light.  We dress him pretty warm for bed, footy pj's etc, so I don't worry about him getting too cold.

  • Rory just started in her bed last night. Yes, they do sell toddler bed kits. I think they come with a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and a quilt/comforter, and a pillow case. I found many different designs! Rory still just sleeps with her big blanket though...along with her pillow.
  • DD is in a twin bed, but she uses everything: fitted sheet, top sheet, pillow, comforter, and her sock monkey.
