Eva has a 102 temp...

and I am a nervous wreck!  I can't stop thinking about that poor little boy Christopher.  I already called her doctor and they have been great- told me to push fluids, monitor her and bring her in if the temp doesn't go down or if I feel she really needs to be seen.  I am trying to think positive thoughts- I know she will be fine.  I just can't imagine anything happening to her.

  • aw, hope she is feeling better soon!
  • Poor Eva. She will be OK though. Kiddos get fevers all the time.. Just keep pushing those fluids.. And give her lots of extra snuggles.

  • I'm sure she will be fine too...it's just that time of year with the weather changing and everything. Sounds like you are doing everything you can...the fever will probably be gone soon.

I've been thinking about Christopher a lot too. I feel terrible for his family...and I really want to know what happened to him! What a terrible situation. Made me snuggle with Evan quite a bit more than I normally do.

  • We'll all be thinking positive thoughts with you.  Did you do a bath?  Keep the fluids in her and lots of cuddle time :)
  • I hope she feels better soon and her fever goes down.  It is so hard not to worry when you hear about stories like Christopher's and what that poor mother went through.  It is so heartbreaking.

  • Poor little thing!  I understand that you are worried.  I could not even bring myself to click on the link to read about what happened to that little boy Christopher because I knew that it would just make me so sad and paranoid about something happening to Zoey.

I hope that her fever goes down really soon.  Keep us posted!

  • I can definitely understand why your mind went to Christopher - mine does the same thing when I hear stories like that.  Sounds like you're doing the right thing, though - hope she feels better soon!

  • I know exactly how you feel. Ian spiked a fever last night, and all I could think about was little Christopher. I hated putting him back to bed, I just wanted to snuggle him and watch him all night. Hope Eve is feeling doing better today. I'm sure both of our little ones will be fine.
