Gah! Our swing isn't working!

We had a fisher price aquarium or something swing and gave it to friends because my friend gave us her fisher price butterflies..and something swing.  It plugged in the wall, vs batteries on the other one.

It just started to where it's not swinging.  I'm not sure if it's an easy fix or not.  Dh is handy so he can get into it and look at the motor.

Has anyone else had htis happen.

It barely moves and you can hear the motor trying to swing it back and forth.

Damn it!

  • did you try to give it a gentle push to get it started.  it takes a lot of power to get it going, but little to keep it going.

yeah that's what we usually do, we've had it for a while and it just started doing this yesterday.

If I give it the little push it will go for a minute and then it almost stops it moves maybe a half an inch to the left and right.  and it makes a knocking noise.

  • When ours did that, the arm that went from the motor to the swing had been knocked loose. I would try fiddling with the attachments to make sure nothing worked itself out. good luck!
