Hi y'all! I'm having the first baby in our family in over 20 years. I've been researching strollers and carseats and feel more confused then ever! Does anyone have a suggestion? I read a few posts about them, but I have never heard of the strollers listed. I registered at a BRU, but only put a few items on my list because I got overwhelmed at all the choices! 
I would like to get a stroller that can adapt from an infant to a toddler. I've looked at the stroller frames and the jogging stroller, but don't know which one would be better. I've heard to get one with one tire in front. I don't want a big bulky stroller thats hard to fold up and put in the trunk. I just have no idea about the car seat or stroller! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Ditto on the baby bargains- it will help you narrow things down a lot.
I have a Chicco keyfit 30 car seat, a maclarren easy traveler stroller frame (like the snap and go), a Phil and Ted jogging stroller, and a chicco umbrella stroller for when he outgrows the car seat stroller. I have been happy with all of them.
