My pants were too tight so I....

Went to the staff bathroom with a big pair of scissors in hand and cut the maternity elastic all the way down so that I can now breath! A little bit better at least... They are almost still too big everywhere else but OUCH they hurt sitting right on my stomach. Maybe I'm carrying her kind of low and that attributes to it as well? I don't know but I think I might need to find some full panel khakis for school....

I had that problem, too! It seemed like all the low maternity pants I had cut me right across the gut. All of my work pants are full panel, and even a couple of khakis...they might seem "old lady" like but they are so comfortable!!!

I agree the comfort of the full panel are UNBELIEVABLE...the only half panel I can wear are one pair of jeans from Motherhood...the other ones I have to wear them ONLY for a short period where I wont be sitting down too long..

You could try a size up in underbelly pants. The ones I bought at 12 weeks got too tight quickly, but my friend sent me a bunch of pants in the next size up and those fit okay.

I am carrying super low - I've been joking that I'm built like Homer Simpson. There is nothing for my pants to sit on in the front. But I already have so many pairs of pants that I don't want to buy full panel pants just to wear for 6-7 weeks!
