The DH and I have been TTC since August... this is so tough!! Your hopes get so high every month that "This is the month!!" Ugh - it definitely takes a lot outta you. I'm glad that we have this site so we can all vent hehe
6 months. I know what you mean about getting your hopes up each month. Some months are not as bad as others. But, this past month was quite depressing. AF came several days earlier than expected. Argh! My LP was so short. Not what you are hoping for over Thanksgiving break.
~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~
Me= 37 and DH = 41

Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
We had our wedding in August and thats when I started charting and lurking here, but I went off BCP June 08' and we were just trying to let it happen (it obviously didn't ).
This is TTC month 1 for us, but I've been practice charting since August. We got the clear from my doctor to start trying 10/19, the same day I got a + OPK, but DH and I were both sick that week, so I'm not counting October. :-)
We actually found out we were expecting our first baby on 02/13 of this year, and were due 10/05. We lost our beautiful baby boy on 05/13 at 19 weeks and 2 days when I went into early labor due to IC. Charting and trying definitely makes for a bag of mixed emotions. DH and I really want to get pregnant, and at the same time we know we're going to be scared and nervous. We are thankful though that I have such a wonderful doctor and that she was able to diagnose the problem. A lot of people have to suffer several losses and never have answers as to why. I hope this is the month DH and I make a little baby brother or sister for our little angel.
I actually think this has been good for me. I got PG with my son (who is 4.5 yrs old) on the first try. I was young, and this time around I guess I just kinda assumed it would happen quickly again. This has been a good learning experience for me to learn about my body and not take it for granted. It is teaching me patience and to be thankful for the beautiful child I do have. I admire a lot of the girls on here for all they have been through.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. If you don't mind me asking, what is IC? I have a friend who is also pregnant after a loss, and I know it took her a very long time to get past the fear. It's tough. GL!

We've been TTC since the end of March. I agree, it's definitely tough because you get your hopes up every month only to be let down later. I really struggled with it last month after having a 40 day cycle... I was so sure that I must be pregnant, and then AF had to go and start. Ugh!

IC is incompetent cervix. It is tough, but I have the sweetest, most supportive DH in the world, and that makes everything easier. Thank you for the support!
