Gymboree questions

Will the new lines be on sale more than 25% off before the end of December? (There's a big sale in December before Christmas, right?) I really want to get a pair of jeans for DD from the winter ballerina line, but with the 25% off and my extra 20% off, they come to $22. Is that the best deal I'll get? Not sure if I really need them or not. DD certainly doesn't need any new clothes, but these are adorable. (I mean, I could buy cute jeans that fit her well from Crazy 8 for $8.) What do you think? Buy them or wait?

Second question - If I have the cinch the waistband in 2-3 buttons for jeans, is there any way the fleece pants will fit DD?

Re: Gymboree questions

  • not sure, but found that the cuter jeans tend to see out pretty quick in the stores.  What size is your dd for the fleece?  Can you always buy the jeans then return if they are cheaper? thats what I usually do if I really like something and am afraid it will sell out

She's pretty much a 4 in length and a 3 in the waist. I guess I could buy and return... not sure how that works if I earn Gymbucks though.

  • so then my dd is probably the same as yours. she is about 39-40 inches tall and 35+ pounds.  I got her jacket alittle big, a 5t, a 4 would have just fit but I wanted room to frow, have to roll the sleeves once though.  For pants, I went with 3t and they are quite long and drag on the floor still  The 4's were VERY long.  I went with 3T rather than 3 since they werent as narrow, but the jackets were a mix
  • She's about 42" and ~38 lbs. She has size 4 jeans from Crazy 8 (about the same sizing as Gymboree), and the length are perfect in those but again I have them in about 3-4 buttons on the waist. I tried on a size 5 from Gymboree on her last night, and they are about 1.5-2" too long. I think my problem is really that different items run differently in size there. I'm not really in the mood to go into a store today and have her try them on. Oh, and the fact that she doesn't really need any more clothes.

  • hmm her waist on he 3t are perfect, but I bet the length would just fit her, not much room to grow.  her crazy 8 3t pants are still alittle long on her.  DD is over flowing with clothes but both Gymbo and C8 have the cutest stuff out it is hard to resist...bought 4 fleece sets on friday
  • Okay. I did it.

2 fleece tops. 2 fleece pants (hoping they fit). 1 pair of jeans. 2 hair accessories. $25 Gymbucks.

    20% off. $5 rewards certificate. $60 total.

The $6.50 shipping is worth not having to drive to the mall and shop with a 3.5 yo, right?

They really know how to keep me shopping there. I managed to resist placing my order for one whole day. ;-)

  • I think it is worth it...especially this weekend...my SIL called me from there checking on what dd had/needed from the ballerina line and all I could her was her yelling at her kids to stay by her....sounded like a mad house...went Friday and the line was to the back of the store, not to mention how small/tight the stores are in general   Hope it all works out!
  • Not to be snarky, but don't you work there? LOL

ETA: Nevermind, I realize that it's Heidisean I'm thinking of. LOL Sorry!
