This is getting crazy! She spits up SO much, and all the time, not just after feedings. She is not in pain and does not cry when she spits up, but the poor thing can't do tummy time or sit up without a HUUUGE spit up.
I'd say she spits up at least 4-5 times in between feedings, even hours after the feeding.
I know this peaks at 4 months and should be better by 6 months, but I just need some reassurance! I feel so bad for her!! We wash burp cloths EVERY night because we go through at least six a day.
And, my dog has an obsession with licking it up, which is totally grossing me out!
Re: Does your LO spit up ALL.THE.TIME?
All.The.Time.
I joke that she is my bulimic baby. Seriously. You give her 6oz and she gives you 2-3oz back within a hour. Yuck.
I keep a bib on her all day and she goes through 5-6 bibs a day!! LOL. Otherwise I'd have to change her clothes A LOT.
Many days, yes. Every so often he'll have a day where he hardly spits up at all, other days he's a fountain (always has been). It doesn't matter how long it's been since he ate. Strangely it's best when he's flat on his back. Sitting up or on his tummy is the worst. We go through a lot of burp cloths and bibs.
Yep, that's my son too! All the time, all over the place. I really hope it gets better sooner rather than later.
I used to shoo the dog away from it and now I sometimes just call her over to get it because it's not worth it!
I LOL'ed at this! The same thing happens to us. And you're right, it's always right when you finally get that last snap done.
Yes! He spits up all the time. He does have reflux and is on Axid and he is now just a "happy spitter"- half the time he's smiling as he's throwing up, so he's not in pain, it just happens! The bumbo and tummy time, without fail, make him spit up. It doesn't matter if I've waited 5 minutes or two hours...it happens anyway! I go through so much laundry and I swear I permanently smell like old milk.
So jealous! I don't even want to bother with cute outfits b/c they either have to be covered up with a bib, or will need to be changed almost instantly. I had to wait until the last minute to put his Christmas sweater on him for his Santa pic and say a little prayer that we'd get the picture before he puked.
