I currently have a Moby which I use around the house, but DD is close to 15lbs now, and the Moby stretches out after 10 minutes. I'd like to get a woven wrap so I can start wearing her on my back more often. Any suggestions on which one to get? I've googled, and read 10,000 reviews of different wraps online, but it's overwhelming... ::sigh::
Thanks for your input!
Re: Help with chosing a wrap!
Do you have an idea of what qualities you want in a wrap - thick or thin; stripes, patterns, solids? Are you more interested in a long wrap for multi-layer carries or a shortie for single layer carries? Do you want something you can beat up and that's easy care? Or are you ok with something that may need line drying? Do you have a price range? New or used?
Sorry for the million questions!

This sounds like a job for ncbelle!
lol
I am sure she will see this and will help you. GL
EDIT: oops, she already did, teehee
Color/stripe/pattern doesn't matter. I'd like something i can put in the washer & dryer. I have no idea about single/double layer - just want something easy & durable all-around! Price not an issue.
In that case, I'd just look for something you love the look of! Girasols and Neobulles get a lot of recommendations for first wrappers - they are soft brand new and easy to work with. I like Vatanais and BB Slens as well - they are thinner but still pretty soft. I haven't personally tried a Hopp or Storch but they have reputations for being "workhorse" wraps - they do tend to take some breaking in though. Didymos has a ton of different options - if you want easy care, I'd stay away from the silk or wool blends.
I'd say start with a size 6 (if you are average size) - that's 4.6 meters. That would give you enough length to try the most commonly used carries and see what you like best.
Not sure if that was very helpful - feel free to ask other questions!

Another idea would be to take a look at some online shops.
sweet-pickles.com and pieceofcloth.com are my favorite for wraps - I have some others linked in my siggy. The mamas that own them are super nice and helpful.
