Last night sucked!

I was up a tad late last night since DH wanted to watch the 2nd Transformers movie. I was miserably uncomfortable on the couch with an achy sensation in my legs and general PG belly positioning. I got to bed around 1am after a nice relaxing shower. At 2am, DD started crying for me. She's been doing that on and off for weeks now. No biggie, you find her lovey, hold her for a minute and put her back down. My guess is she has nightmares. Last night, no go. She did not want to be put back down. Lots of "No WAY!" and tears. Took me 20 minutes to convince her to go back in her crib. As soon as I crawled back into bed I had almost a minute of the worst lightning crotch ever. 

The next 6 hours were spent alternating between Abby crying and me having the sensation of a sharp object in my cervix. There was nothing wrong Abby that I could tell - dry diaper, no bites, no fever. She just wanted me and I knew by her cry that CIO was not an option. It's hard to hold a 28lb toddler for long when you have no hips or stomach to balance her on!! And she didn't want to rock in the chair either.

I had to wake her up for MDO which she was grumpy about. At least the lightning crotch has subsided for now. I was seriously wondering if I should start timing them last night or if I should have gotten out of bed and started packing!  I was going to use my mani/pedi Groupon today but I'm too tired to enjoy it. Instead I'm going to go renew my DL and then come home and take a nap before going to pick DD up.
