It says that Toys R Us is phasing out all drop side cribs - I'm assuming this means BRU as well...but who knows.

Seems like everyone should avoid these if they are in the market for a crib!

I just read that article. Of course, we have a Stork Craft drop side crib. Awesome.

We have a drop side too...not this brand but I figure it's just a matter of time.

The stork craft website is down, of course, too. I'm dying to get some more info. All of the media I've seen seems to show the "1 hand" model but we have the use-your-foot to bring the side down model.

people are saying online that no-one is answering the customer service line. I just went into Justin"s room w. a flashlight. There is no "plastic hardware" on our model and that is what seems to be affected according to the cpsc website. All of our brackets are metal.
