MIL brought us the cradle that her grandfather built for DH when he was born, but didn't bring it to us until after we had cameron sleeping in her own room/crib. needless to say, i didn't want to regress and put her in the (questionably safe) cradle in our room so she's never used it. now that she's more active in her sleep i KNOW it's not safe, and i'm ready to just store it (b/c we will be the next to have a kid we can't really push it onto anyone else).
the problem is, dh wants to keep it out, but we don't really have the room for it. if i put some of her toys in her closet, we coul put it in her room-but what's the point of having 2 baby beds in 1 room, and her toys stashed away? do any of you have suggestions on how to deal with this or what to do with the cradle? tia!
Re: what to do with cradle?
Maybe you could put blankets, dolls, stuffed animals and things like that in the cradle that you would want to have out in a pretty way so it doubles as a storage spot?
When she is older I bet she would love using the cradle for her dolls.
