Dumb question

in 1st Trimester

Can diluted urine (mine was VERY clear) give a false negative?  I got my BFP last week and for some reason this morning I decided to test again.  It was not my first urine of the day though, anyway it said Not pregnant and I'm freaking out of course.

I should probably step away from the pregancy tests and just wait to see my doc on Tuesday....

    If you had a chemical pg and the hormones subsided enough for the test to be negative, I would expect you'd have bleeding by now.  Maybe don't drink a lot of water and try again later?  Or try a different test?

    I was just lurking in here and saw your question...yes diluted urine can give a BFN- it happened to me with my first pregnancy- I had 2 BFP then later on that day I tested again and got a BFN and I was so confused.  So I waited a day and tested with fmu and got a BFP.  So either wait til you see your doc or test in the morning sine that is when the hcg levels are most concentrated in the urine.  If you still get a BFN then it's possible that it's a CP.  GL!!

    I had two tests..one was a ept digital that said not pregnant and the first repsonse had a faint line.  I'm just going to wait and test in the morning, hopefully everything is ok.  thanks

    Digitals are known for giving false results. Get another dye based test and try FMU tomorrow. GL

    I've heard digitals aren't as sensitive.
