Should I let him go to happy hour?

DH just called to say his boss and co-workers are going to happy hour. I've been home all day and would really like some companionship. Should I suck it up for a few more hours and let him go or should I ask him to come home and have happy hour with me and LO?

    Whatever you feel like. The other day my bf wanted to go watch ufc with some work friends and he set a time was home right at that time. He was only out for about two hrs but it felt good to let him go because it made me realize his life is only work and home right now. Just like I get a break now and then.

    If this is not a habit, yes, I'd let him go.  I'd plan something with my friends tomorrow night.....heehee!

    Or, you can also let him go, but ask him to come home at a certain time because you need him...

    Why not let him go out tonight if he would watch LO so you can get a break tomorrow?  You could go shopping or out with your girls!

    I'd say, let him go this time quilty free! Hopefully he will return the favor to you with your girls next time

    I would probably let him go. As long as he lets you have a night out. If you really want him to spend time with you guys set a time for him to come home. That way you are both happy.

    I would.  He pulls his weight around here pretty well so I like to let him have fun from time to time.

    yep, let him go guilt free. it's better than having him resent. hopefully he'll return the favor... this works with my dh so hopefully it works with yours ;)

    I would let him go. We do this for each other all the time.
