NFR: Moistest packaged cake batter

Anyone have any recommendations for the moistest and best yellow cake batter?  I'm not a good baker, so it will have to packaged batter.

  • If you go with Betty Crocker or Pilsbury "pudding in the mix"mix you are already doing well.

    BUT if you substitute a cup of the water required for milk, now THAT is going to be some moist and fabulous cake !

  • Not sure about the moistest...but a good tip to make it moist is to add a snack pack of vanilla pudding...or half a can of sprite to the mix. Makes it seriously moist.
