Did someone send me labor dust? Seriously, there are 41 weekers that could have used it much more than me, a mere 29 weeker. Let's all vow to not just send that stuff out willy nilly. Someone's aim must be off or I got caught in the crossfire.
Background, for those who don't know, I came to L&D last night because of too many BH per hour. Turns out, I was 3 cm dilated and in labor. They gave me meds to relax my Ute, but that caused my BP to crash to 66/33 so they had to lower the dose.
For now, LO is staying in there. I am still having contractions, but at least I am still only three cm dilated. I got a steroid shot to help boost the baby's lungs. The docs are hopeful, but still talk about LO coming soon. I would like to think that they just want to let me know that stuff "just in case" and not because they think that is where we are headed.
My baby shower on Saturday will still go on, just without me or DH being there. :-(
Best case scenario is that LO will stay put and I'll be on strict Bedrest. Worst case is that LO will be an overachiever and come early. He or she will then spend up to about my due date in the NICU. T&PS appreciated!

Drive by Labor Dust is NOT where it's at. T&P. Hope the LO waits at least 6 more weeks to become an overachiever.
The 1st tri girls probably sent you the labor dust... by the truck load.
Hope you and your LO do great and that you can be discharged soon with LO still in side of course!

Dear Shorty,
I am shocked about your news this morning. I am super happy that things are fine. I think it was the Diane who sent in you into L&D because we all know she does voodoo at home. We really hope you are back on here soon and we'll be hoping and prayin for a healthy little shorty and a healthy momma shorty

Sucks that you will miss this shower after the debacle that was your last one.. At least (hopefully) you will have lots of stuff from your registry sent to you to open!
