Is your smaller baby still the smaller baby now?

When they were born, if there was a significant difference in their weights, is the smaller baby still smaller than his/her twin? Or have they switched?

I was just wondering about this because Eleanor was originally the smaller one (4 lbs., 5 oz., when Cordelia was 4 lbs., 15 oz.) and ever since they were about two months old, Eleanor has been the bigger one. We used to call her "Little Bit," which doesn't really fit now.

miles weighed 7 oz less than the other two (4.3 vs 4.10) and he is still smaller, about a pound smaller than the next bigger, who is about a pound smaller than the biggest.

yes- Gray is about 3lbs smaller now... he used to be 2lbs smaller. He's got reflux, though, and doesn't eat as much- so there's little chance he'll catch up any time soon. Gibby is freakin' huge - was 18lbs at 4mos... he LOVES to eat.

Now at 7 months - James is 17 lbs and Connor is 20 lbs. James is a pickier eater and Connor will eat anything and everything!

My girls had a 4 oz. weight difference at birth. The smaller one quickly gained and by 9 months or so there was a 3 lb. difference between them. Their weights are almost the same now, but there is still a noticeable size difference because the one who's always been underweight is string bean because she's tall and my other one has a very typical toddler shape.

Cassidy was 5 12 and Carrigan was 5 15. As of Monday night Cassidy was 11 1/4 and Carrigan was 10 3/4.

Mine were 3 lbs 12 oz, 3 lbs 15 oz and 3 lbs 7 oz. Lily was our smallest and has always run about 2 lbs behind the other two.

Matthew was 3.9 and Jon was 4.0. Now at 4, Matthew is 41, almost 42 pounds and Jon is 33.

Kaden was 4 lbs 6oz when he was born and Nolan was 5 lbs 9 oz. For a few months they were about the same weight. But Kaden has never outweighed Nolan. Right now Nolan is about a pound heavier than Kaden.

my babies were pretty close in size at birth but my smaller one is now 2 pounds bigger than his sister. He is massive, IMO!

Joey was 7 oz. smaller at birth and tonight he was 9oz. smaller still. They range between 6 and 10oz. different.

DD, Payton, was 5lbs 7oz when she was born at 5 months she was 12lbs 11oz.

DS, Parker, was 6lbs 14oz when he was born and at 5 months he was 13lbs 4oz.

So Payton has caught up a lot. The funny thing is she is only 24" but Parker is 26" and barely weighs more than her! My chunky little girl!

Definitely. They were about a pound different at birth (5lb14oz and 4lb12oz) and now the gap has widened to about 4 lbs!

my guys were born with a pound and a half difference...4 lbs 4 oz, and 5 lbs 15 oz. The smaller one was always about a pound behind, then was about a half pound different at 12 months, and at 15 months they were exactly the same height, weight, head. I am anxious to see at our 18 month next week, I think he may pass my big guy...which would be weird since we call my originally bigger guy "meatball"!!!!

my small fry is still smaller

we had 3lbs 13oz, and 4lbs 8oz. they are now 15 and 17lbs respectively. my smaller girl has a different, more narrow frame, so i expect they might always have a size discrepency.

Nope- DS was smaller by 6 oz at birth & is now larger by about a pound & a half! I think it is just genetics though, MH is 6 ft and I'm only 5 ft so I'm not surprised our girl is more petite...

My boys had exactly a pound difference at birth. One was 6 lbs 9 oz and the other 7 lbs 9 oz.

They are 11 months old and they still keep that pound difference. To me it is strange because last time they went one was 21 lbs 4 oz the other was 20 lbs 4 oz.

I think that this will be the case for the rest of their life.

When the boys are naked the smaller twin his chest is not as big as the other twin. I think alot of that has to do with that the smaller twin was breech the entire time and the bigger twin was head down and spread out to grow.

But I guess time will tell!

Our smaller twin has always stayed that way, weight wise. They were a little less than a pound apart and now they are about 4 pounds or so apart. Now, although the smaller twin weighs less, they are half an inch taller. And eats more.

Baby B was always about a lb smaller than A.
At our 6-month check-up, he'd caught up; A & B were exactly the same weight.

Stasia was about 1.5 lbs smaller and is still smaller at just over 5 months.

Zoey was 4lbs 2oz 16" and Zahra was 5lbs 7oz 18". They are 13 months now and are finally pretty even. They are both the same height and have the same head circumphrence but Zahra is still about 1/2lbs heavier that Zoey. The funny thing is Zoey still seems so much smaller to me. I still think of her as my little preemie but she is really such a big girl now! Time flies mommies...enjoy every moment!!
