my washing machine not working. which doesn't sound silly until I tell you why. the washing machine did not work because someone turned off the hot water access.

I definitely started to get teary yesterday when my boss was doing my review cause she was being so sweet. I had to bite my tongue not to tell her since yesterday was her last day before her own maternity leave.

Yesterday I told my faculty that I am expecting. One of the professors (who has been a mentor of mine since I moved to Memphis) told me that I was glowing. She then went on to tell me that the glow of an expectant mother is the light of the new baby's guardian angel shining through. I lost it!

I cried watching CSI the other night because there was a girl who beat her pregnant stomach to make herself have a miscarriage. Even though it was a story it made me upset because I know people have been known to do some crazy stuff.

On my way home from work last Friday I decided it was time for a little Christmas music (I always start early). I was just enjoying the music & singing along when my eyes started welling up with tears out of nowhere.

I am super sensitive when I watch Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I cry just like the people who are getting their home rebuilt. Seeing other people cry just sets me off.

My professor called on me in class (grad school) and I didn't know the answer. I burst into tears. I was mortified (and still am).

That was about 2 months ago. He still won't call on me.

I cried yesterday while watching Oprah. All these Oscar winning actresses were being introduced--Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz and Daniel Day Lewis. Then Kate Hudson is introduced and they say- 2 time oscar nomminee. It made me cry that she had not actually won. LOL SO STUPID, I know!

I thought I was the only one crazy about McDonalds breakfast! I LOVE their blt's and DH does not really enjoy their breakfast but I get up early in the weekends to make sure I get my BLT for breakfast since it's the best thing in the world and I got all teary eyed the other day when DH said he was going to take me to breakfast Saturday since I'm leaving to visit my parents this weekend and he has to work. So I'm looking forward to it = )

I also cried when I put my Christmas music on for the first time a few weeks ago. I was singing and crying! lol

This first one isnt really silly but we try to donate to St. Jude's hospital because it makes me so sad that these kids have cancer. DH wanted to know what I wanted to do when we got the thing in the mail. I told him I wanted to donate and he asked me to read the letter. I got through 2 sentences and bawled the rest of the way!

DH's sister and hubby are looking for jobs right now (because they just got back from 6 mos in Europe). She got a 6 week job at the college we live 2 blocks from - our town is 2 hours from her house. So she stayed with us for 1 week in our 2 bed/1 bath apt. I just hate having the company for so long because there's no privacy. She texted me 4 days after she left last time and asked if she could stay for 2 days this week. I just started bawling! I didn't want the company, I hadn't washed the sheets from last time and they were the only spares and all the extra towels were dirty. I just felt like a bad hostess and I wanted to be left alone!

I cried b/c DH ate my graham crackers- the ones i bought myself to snack on during bouts of m/s. He didn't even eat them all, just one or two but i was so upset with him!
