In all seriousness, though, most of what there is to do in Raleigh involves drinking and/or shopping. And those malls aren't fun (because of the ridiculous crowds) during normal times of the year, I can't imagine what kind of nut house they are around Christmastime.
Go to Chapel Hill and the Duke Gardens. Eat some shrimp and grits (I can give you some recommendations for restaurants). Visit the plethora of BOTB girls who are from around there. Shop. Enjoy the awesomeness.

ME.
Tell me what time and I will be there.
Jet blue is having a sale. $39 each way.
I am seriously considered snapping it up
Wow! Those are great rates!
I have an extra bed. I'm sure Buck does too.

also - shopping, eating, golf (you can golf in dec sometimes here) - DH is still playing, drink...
If you want to drink I suggest staying within walking distance of either Franklin St (Chapel Hill) or Glenwood South (Raleigh).
There are at least 5 malls nearby and while not huge, they all pretty decent.
Uh, isn't the Melting Pot a chain?
We have some decent museums. I will send Glenwood South. I will be flying out of RDU, so you can people watch for me.
I always thought so. We have one in G'boro.
