Great OB for Mary Birch?

Hi Ladies,

I had a D&C for a missed miscarriage in June. Just got my BFP again and I'm looking for a great OB that delivers at Sharp Mary Birch and that has an office close to North County if possible.

I've ruled out Dr. Blake & Dr. Tajran's office... Any advice would be great!!!

    I had Kim Goodwin for my son's doctor 2 years ago and she was great. I am not sure if she has an office near you but you can look on the Sharp website. Good luck!!

    I've had both Dr. Barmeyer and Dr. Lafferty at Sharp Mary Birch. Dr. Barmeyer is out of the San Diego Main office (across street from Mary Birch) and Dr. Lafferty is out of La Mesa. Both are excellent!

    I am delivering out of Mary Birch, but am seeing a doctor down south (even though I live in Carlsbad).

    My OBGYN (before I started with a Perinatologist) was out of this office (down south):

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    I just made an appt with their office yesterday. How did you like them? 

    I only went once, and saw Dr. Saffer (male).  He was very nice, and I really appreciated that he was proactive with diagnosing our infertility.  When I am done with the Perinatologist (and the babies are here) and back with a regular Gynecologist again, I will be going back to that office. 

    I actually tried finding an OBGYN in Carlsbad, but was really unhappy with the customer service I received over the phone.  It's a bit of a hike down to the Mary Birch area, but it's worth it for good care.

    dr wong was good- delivered my healthy boy by way of 41 week induction. i did have an episiotomy, though. his office is on balboa and genesse.

    I was a postpartum nurse at Mary Birch until a recent injury. My favorite OB was Dr. Daneshmand, but West Coast OB/GYN was good also. I think Dr. French and Dr. Goodwin were very nice. I know this may sound biased, but I looked into other hospital when I was pregnant and none of them compared to Mary Birch. If you have any questions about the hospital, let me know...I'm on the MC/PL board usually or I check out the PgAL sometimes.
