I agree with the posters who say 3 is too young/not really relevant to talk about stranger danger. But when do you tell your kid "nobody's allowed to touch your privates"? Would you and when and how do you have that conversation?
Really, 3 is too young? I don't make a big conversation about it, but I have been reminding Ethan from the age of three that his privates are his privates.... and no one is allowed to touch him (unless DH or I or grandparents are giving him a bath) or make him feel uncomfortable in any way.
I haven't read the other post yet but I don't think 3 is too young to talk about it either. I wouldn't get too detailed at that age, but it doesn't hurt to mention it. My oldest is 5 and we've talked about it a few times.

I'm with the others. I've talked to DD#1 about it a few times. In fact, it was on our 3-year-old sheet that we got from her pedi at her 3-year appointment. Just to start talking about it and I've had to be careful because DD is very sensitive and gets upset/scared very easily. Still, I think she mostly gets it.
