I think it's kind of funny .... DH and chose to have a part time nanny instead of daycare (for a variety of reasons) - one of the reasons was to reduce sickness coming into the house.
By the age of six months DS has had three colds (first one was no big deal, second one was a little bit worse and the third one was bordering on something really bad - but remained a 10 day chest cold).
DH was the culprit of one of the colds but he must have picked up the other two outside of the house and DH and I were immune to them.
Thankfully nothing worse has come into the house though.
Unfortunately I had to pick the 4 or more. DD has had 3 back-to-back ear infections, a cold here or there, and horrible cough. She is always congested, poor baby.

Once and it was just the sniffles. No fever or anything. ::knocks on wood::
