Flying to see the inlaws on Friday. The flight is only an hour but the airport and plane and rental car excursion is a full day of activities. Any suggestions? We flew when he was 7 months but he is a whole different kid now!

Bring books, toys, snacks. I usually try to buy a new book or small toy and give it to DD on the plane. The novelty of a new thing can keep her entertained for a while.
Bring some of his favorite books, a few new toys and lots of snacks! My son loved lifting and closing the window shade and playing w/the remote on the plane, so that kept him occupied a long time. At the airport, let him walk around as much as possible. GL!
