There was a March of Dimes piece on the local news talking about pre-term birth. A rep for the March of Dimes said that 1 in 5 pregnant women still smoke. I can't believe that! Doesn't that seem ridiculously high? Maybe they meant that of women who smoked before pregnancy, 1 in 5 still do. Anyway, this post has no point, just thought I'd share. ![]()
Re: This stat can't be true
I've read 1 out of 12 (Fit Pregnancy mag) as a national average. Which is still a lot.
Women in my city are 61% more likely than the average to smoke during pg!!
